- Required Qualifications: Qualified to Degree level in Machinal/ Electronics/Electrical engineering.
- Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Roles & Responsibility:
Primary:
- Training on Supplier Quality processes.
- Ability to read part drawings / specifications
- Assist SQEs / Work closely with supplier on part developments during NPIs/ Transfers
- Attend Mfg Line Daily standup meetings.
- Trend and communicate supplier defects.

Secondary:
- Closely work with assigned Suppliers to implement effective action plan & resolve quality issues
- Support Supplier Quality Engineer/Subject Matter Expert in closely tracking Supplier Monitoring Metrics including DPPM (Defective Part Per Million), Incoming parts quality issues & ISO certificate renewal
- Support change management by coordinating with suppliers on engineering changes and process change requests
- Support in tracking Change Notifications to Suppliers & getting timely acknowledgments
- Help SQE in completing Part Quality Plans for all Essential to Safety Part aiding supplier compliance to GEHC QMS and regulatory requirements
- Understand specifications/ requirements by interacting with product development team & help Suppliers establish controls & improve quality
- Support SQEs to drive Quality improvements that minimize the Costs of Quality, specifically Failed on Arrival/Install (FOA/FOI) issues, Field Failures, and Factory defects
- All other duties as assigned by manager
