Tata Communication Hiring 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Role Overview
Tata Communications is looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join its Product Engineering team. The selected candidate will work on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and enhancing telecom-grade products. This role requires strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native technologies, along with the ability to build scalable and high-performance platforms in the messaging and telecom domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert business and technical requirements into High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
- Design and build scalable, distributed systems using microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures
- Participate in design discussions, performance optimization, and capacity planning for high-traffic telecom systems
- Develop and maintain backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and best coding practices
- Create and integrate microservices using REST, JSON, and event-driven approaches
- Implement caching, business logic, and state management using Redis, Hazelcast, or similar tools
- Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE)
- Work with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Utilize cloud services across AWS, Azure, or GCP for storage, configuration, networking, and monitoring
- Develop telecom-grade features such as SMS, RCS, CPaaS, Voice services, routing engines, and billing integrations
- Integrate telecom protocols, messaging queues, rating engines, and provisioning workflows
- Identify and resolve performance, latency, and throughput issues in high-volume telecom environments
Functional and Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (8/11+)
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
- Familiarity with Maven build tools
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Experience in REST API development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with messaging queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ
- Experience with in-memory databases and caching tools such as Redis or Hazelcast
- Proficiency in GitHub/GitLab and version control systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to create HLA and LLD documentation
- Knowledge of the Telecom IT domain (OSS/BSS, SMSC, CPaaS, RCS, routing, billing, provisioning, etc.)
- Prior experience in telecom product development is a plus
