Flex Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- B.E (EEE / ECE / Mechanical) or M.Sc (Physics / ECS) graduates
- 0 to 2 years of experience as an NPI or ECO Engineer in a manufacturing setup
- Experience in the EMS industry is preferred
- Hands-on experience in:
- NPI (New Product Introduction)
- ECO (Engineering Change Order Management)
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
- Working knowledge of PLM software related to the ECO process
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook
- Strong analytical ability
- Basic mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Key Responsibilities
Here’s what a typical day in this role may involve:
- Creating part numbers and AVL entries in Agile and Baan systems
- Downloading customer documents (such as product specifications) and releasing them in CDC
- Acting as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes
- Releasing part lists to production for new models and post-ECO implementation
- Managing ECOs for manufacturing sites across different global locations
- Using Agile (PLM) software for creating, reviewing, routing, tracking, and releasing ECOs
- Reviewing ECOs and drawings carefully and coordinating with process and product engineering teams
- Working closely with engineering and materials teams on product updates or modifications
- Responding to customer and business partner queries related to Engineering Change Orders
- Ensuring all assigned process targets and metrics are achieved
- Demonstrating good leadership and people management skills
