KPMG Hiring Freshers 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience can apply.
- Must be comfortable working in rotational shifts.
- Prior experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

- Basic knowledge of Windows, Azure, or AWS infrastructure is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst – Consulting Implementation, you will be responsible for supporting cybersecurity operations and maintaining security monitoring processes. Your responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring, analyzing, and escalating SIEM alerts based on predefined correlation rules.
- Investigating email security alerts and conducting malware analysis.
- Assisting in proactive content tuning and security use-case enhancement.
- Performing threat hunting activities using network traffic, user behavior analytics, and threat intelligence data.
- Analyzing phishing emails and identifying potential threats.
- Raising and tracking security incidents through designated platforms.
- Working with cybersecurity tools such as Azure Sentinel, Splunk, RSA, and LogRhythm.
- Supporting incident triage, classification, and assignment activities.
- Following incident response procedures and security playbooks.
- Reviewing and interpreting HTTP, SMTP, and network logs under guidance.
- Understanding and adhering to existing SOC processes and operational standards.
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement
The role also involves contributing to quality assurance activities across SOC operations, including:
- Evaluating SOC processes to ensure compliance with defined standards.
- Recording and tracking process deviations and operational errors.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve identified issues.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and recurring process gaps.
- Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and suggesting improvements.
- Recommending performance enhancement opportunities for team members.
- Supporting quality assessments across multiple cybersecurity functions.
- Collaborating closely with SOC teams to improve detection and prevention capabilities.
- Assisting during critical cybersecurity incidents to ensure service quality.
- Reviewing investigation reports, supporting evidence, and recommended remediation actions.
Required Technical Skills
