American Express Hiring 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any other relevant technical discipline.
Apprenticeship Duration:
The apprenticeship program runs for 12 months, starting from January and continuing till December.
Roles and Responsibilities
As part of the apprenticeship program, selected candidates will get hands-on exposure to real-world projects and will:
- Write and work with code using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python
- Act as a key member of an agile development team, contributing to API specifications, code reviews, testing during sprints, and proof-of-concept or automation initiatives
- Design and build customer-facing applications across multiple platforms including iOS, Android, web, and social integrations, along with Java-based services and APIs
- Develop and implement web-enabled systems for effective data collection
