Job Description :
The primary purpose of this role is to drive innovation and automation of financial reporting processes and applications, understand the business requirement, address the data quality issues by coming up with solution with Finance analytics lens paired with automation idea and generate value through productivity, efficient delivery, transform initiatives, eliminating nonvalue added tasks
Understanding of markets business and reporting requirements for financial control function (external and internal)
Application of the above knowledge in addressing data quality issues in financial reporting and driving automations
Perform necessary user acceptance testing representing business and provide post production support wherever necessary
Analytical review of huge volume of data to arrive at patterns
Support strategic transform initiatives for the financial reporting function applying IFRS knowledge wherever applicable
Month-end accruals and provisioning in consultation with Finance and Business Management Team
Support audit requirement both Internal and External
What We’re Looking For
Semi Qualified Accountant – CA Inter/ CMA Inter/ B.COM / MBA Finance
Strong academic background – 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution
Post qualification experience of 1 year
Prior experience, if any in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting role or control environment based or finance automation skillset based
Knowledge and understanding of the key accounting principles under IFRS
Strong excel skills
Working knowledge on SAP
Good analysis and problem solving skills
Strong control awareness
Polite and pleasing
Persuasive until closure of issues
