Cisco Off Campus Drive 2024 Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelors / master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with skills of Computer programming, script writing and good knowledge of cyber security protocols
Minimum 6 years of related cybersecurity compliance experience
Knowledge of Compliance frameworks: e.g. SOC2, ISO27001, ISO 15408, ISO19790, and Common Criteria
Has experience on Cisco technology and equipment, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE preferred
Knowledge of common IT systems (Operating Systems, network devices, application
Has experience on IPv6, MPLS, IP protocol etc. and telecom lab setup/test on router/switch
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Team-player and possesses strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to connect and communicate with both business and IT technical staff including IT and Business management
Requires the ability to multi-task, be focussed, and tackle problems analytically
Has Project management skills
Job Description :
We are seeking a Compliance Engineer – Cybersecurity focus. As a technical specialist, you will:
Provide support to our compliance mission
Contribute under the supervision and mentorship of the compliance Leader and drive technology compliance activities across Cisco
Perform Information Security related assessments to cover domains like Product security, Network, OS & Application Security etc
Address solving questions related to Cisco products, regulations, and any compliance related topic
The engineer should have working experience on Cisco products, lab setup and lab instruments, trouble shooting and manage tests conducted in lab (with focus on telecom and security) ensuring our products pass the lab test and get the regulatory approvals.
This role calls for an individual who understands factors impacting both internal and external Compliance posture and can work within highly x-functional teams to drive various initiatives necessary to improve product compliance. It requires an individual to showcase in-depth knowledge, risk assessment ability and decision-making skills to build long term sustainable process and roadmap to improve our Compliance and Security posture.
What You Will Do
The Compliance engineer shall:
Ensure Cisco products comply with compliance requirements and deliver various regulatory approvals, in collaboration with BU, local sales and other x-functional teams.
Ensure that internal documentation and relevant compliance database are up to date.
Prepare, organize and maintain all compliance documentation related to product testing and certification.
Support various tests conducted in labs and provide support related to compliance issues.
Follow up with security requirement and regulations within the country and provide these updates/changes to internal teams to comply with these updates/changes
Has the potential capability to support other APJC countries Cybersecurity certificate document requirement
