Job Description :.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an IT End User Automation Engineer. The End User Automation Engineer will help transform and influence the team responsible for delivering world-class support and service to DocuSign employees. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end users while also using automation tools and techniques to streamline and improve IT processes. The ideal candidate will have a good background in IT support, combined with experience in scripting, automation, and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with our IT support team to solve issues, deploy solutions, and enhance the overall end user experience. If you are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and driving efficiency through automation, we want to hear from you.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of IT Operations.
Responsibility
- Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Act as an escalation point within the team for complicated technical issues
- Provide technical direction and supervision to junior staff members in the development and implementation of systems or in problem solving
- Document and training materials to support end users and internal IT teams, contributing to policies and procedures across the company
- Stay ahead of industry trends and standard methodologies in IT automation and support, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred
- Certifications such as ITIL or PMP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize numerous tasks
- Strong team player, who enjoys working independently with minimal supervision and a solid ability to balance priorities
- Proven track record of using automation tools and development expertise to create and deliver time and effort saving efficiencies in support of End User Services
- An automation focused mentality with experience automating tasks and workflows
- Strong partner management and business relationship skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical partners
- Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically, and implement innovative solutions and focus on continuous improvement
