Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- B.Tech/B.E/ MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Proficient in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and MVS.
- In-depth understanding of credit card lifecycle, settlement, and customer service workflows.
- Experience working with mainframe tools and utilities.
- Knowledge of VisionPLUS file structures, tables, exits, and subsystem interactions.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to understand business logic and data mapping between modules.
- Experience with other VisionPLUS modules like CMS, FAS, or TRAMS.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Experience working with financial institutions or payment processors.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications in the VisionPLUS SCS module.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Write efficient and optimized code in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and associated VisionPLUS tools.
- Participate in end-to-end development from requirement analysis to deployment and support.
- Work on batch job configurations, data extraction, settlement file generation, and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with QA and testing teams to ensure bug-free, high-performance deliverables.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Assist in migration, upgrades, and integration with other systems/modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, etc.).
