About Company : The Hitachi Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program.
The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Implement NetApp ONTAP software, SAN and NAS solutions, and other related to NetApp technologies.
Perform system upgrades and apply patches for NetApp as required
Performance Tuning and Optimization for NetApp.
Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions using NetApp technologies (Snapmirror, Snapvault).
Install, configure, and maintain Hitachi storage solutions.
Implement Hitachi Vantara technologies, including Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) and other related solutions.
Perform system upgrades and apply patches for Hitachi Vantara as required.
Proficiency in Hitachi Vantara products, SAN, NAS, and related storage protocols.
Experience with data backup and recovery solutions for Hitachi Vantara like HUR, SI, Thin Image and True Copy.
Installation and COnfiguration of OPS center Analyser, Hi-Track.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Detailed knowledge of SAN / NAS/ Fabric with troubleshooting.
Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on NetApp and Hitachi solutions
Preferred candidate profile
Relevant certifications (e.g., Hitachi Vantara Certified Professional, NetApp) are a plus.
Knowledge of Brocade and Cisco SAN switch.
Upgrade of Brocade and Cisco SAN switch.
ISL Knowledge for Brocade and Cisco SAN switch.
