SBI Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria :
Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-II):
- Graduate (any discipline) from a recognized University or Institution AND Certificate in Forex by IIBF
- Other Qualification: Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) certification will be preferred / Certificate in Trade Finance / Certificate in International Banking (Preferably)
- Min. 2 years experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification experience) in Trade Finance processing as an executive in supervisory role in any Scheduled Commercial Bank
- Specific Skills required: Outstanding communication, presentation and processing skills.

Climate Risk Specialist (MMGS-III):
- Minimum Postgraduate/ Master’s degree in environmental management/Environmental Sciences/Climate Change/Climate Finance/Disaster Management/Natural Resource Management/Statistics/MBA(Finance)/MBA (Banking & Finance) from a recognized university with first class or equivalent with a consistently good academic record throughout.
- Preferred qualifications: Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by GARP OR Professional Risk Managers by PRMIA OR Sustainability and Climate Risk by GARP
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in Risk Management Department of any Banks/Financial Institutions/Rating Agencies/Brokerage firms or Risk Advisory in Consulting Firms, with at least 2 years’ work experience in dealing with Climate Change related risks and assessment models
Desirable:
- Work Experience in Risk Management Cycle – with expertise in Climate Change Risk Management. Identification/Assessment/Measurement/Metrics and Disclosures and Risk Mitigation Strategies, Stress Testing – creation, execution and analysis of stress testing outcome.
- Experience in consulting and/or industry experience in Climate Change, Climate risk analysis, Sustainability strategy, Climate Finance, Green finance, clean energy and ESG related areas.
- Working Knowledge on Climate Risk Models, like Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs) or Climate physical and transition risk assessment tools by various service providers, such as Global Change Assessment Model (GCAM) and Paris Agreement Capital Transition Assessment (PACTA) etc.
- Expertise in Model development/ validation/ audit/ review experience for financial and non-financial risks.
- Experience of working on Stress test models (ex- for climate transitional and Physical Risk, Integration of credit risk in climate scenario or cyber risk scenario etc.) etc.
- Having hands on knowledge on NGFS (Network for Greening the Financial System) and other climate scenarios. Knowledge in creating & executing climate scenarios and their analysis.
- Having working knowledge in SBTi, PCAF, GRI etc.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Specific Skills required:
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal as well as written)
- Problem Solving Attitude
- Analytical Thinking
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel and Power Point.
Market Risk Specialist (MMGS-III):
- Chartered Accountant (CA)/ICWA/MBA(Finance/Banking) or equivalent / PGDM (Finance) or equivalent from institutions recognized/approved by Govt. bodies / AICTE/ UGC
- Minimum 5 years of Post Qualification experience in a Job-related to working on General Accounting policies, Investments / Derivatives / Valuation, etc., of commercial Banks/NBFC/Large corporates.
- Preferred: Candidates with experience in Ind AS Implementation treasury solutions on Ind AS would be preferred
Preferred qualifications:
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by GARP or
- Professional Risk Managers by PRMIA or
- CFA
Specific Skills required:
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal as well as written)

Selection Process of State Bank of India Jobs:
- The selection will be on the basis of shortlisting and Interview.
- Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right to the candidate to be called for an interview.
- The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the bank, will be shortlisted for interview.
- The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final.
