What will you do?
- Able to develop test, and implement changes to existing mainframe applications.
- Ongoing support of business applications by problem analysis, resolution, reporting and escalation as required.
- Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks
- Debug and resolve issues related to batch processing, online transactions, and system interface.
- Utilize source code version control tools like Endevor for deployment and change management.
- Implement code changes following established processes and best practices.
- Manage batch jobs using JCL and scheduling tools (e.g., CA7).
- Participating and sharing Functional/Technical knowledge with other team members
- Good Reasoning and analytical skills
- Good Communication skills
- Work as a team player / Strong Collaboration
- Should be flexible to support Nightly batch/On-call/Weekend Upgrades, Implementations and rostered Night shift if required.
- Role Definition:
- I develop, support, deploy and/or test basic technology solutions of limited scale.
- I work with supervision and guidance and apply basic engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables.
- I understand the software requirements and ensure its translated into good quality production – ready code basis provided design & instructions.
- I understand the defined scope and timelines and deliver quality deliverable within the estimated time.
- I attend and actively participate in the team ceremonies.
