Macquarie is a global financial group providing clients with asset management, retail and business banking, wealth management, leasing and asset financing, market access, commodity trading, renewables development, specialist advisory, capital raising and principal investment.
Tertiary qualification in a business discipline, along with post-qualification experience of at least 1-2 years in accounting and operational roles within the financial services industry.
Good understanding of quality control processes and proficiency in Excel.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and peers, as well as excellent research and analytical skills.
Previous exposure to the Vest mark and APL investment management platforms is advantageous.
Job Descriptions :
In this financial operations role, you will work with various stakeholders across the business to improve operational efficiencies within the SMA group. Additionally, you will perform daily cash and asset reconciliations, aggregate data, generate reports, and play a role in processing tax harvest requests, which includes reconciling custodial cost basis information. You will be responsible for quality control duties that include, but are not limited to, the validation of cash and security flow entries.
