In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform validation of Ovation Digital Twin and its Tools which represent mathematical models of plant equipment for power generation plant simulators.
- Perform Heat balance calculation for the mathematical models (simulation algorithms).
- Prepare Boiler, Balance of Plant, Main Steam, Air & Flue Gas, Gas & Steam turbine, Supercritical & Electrical modelling as required for the various test scenarios to be executed.
- Perform smoke test, first pass test and regression testing.
- Maintain Hardware/Virtual test setups that are part of automated/manual test environment.
- Log defects in project defined defect tracking tool.
- Read and follow relevant project Engineering practice and standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other testers.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering
- The candidate should have 2 plus years of experience of which at least 1 year should be in a technology related field with Coal/Combined Cycle Power Plant operation/modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of performing stoichiometry calculation for various chemical reactions (for example fuel combustion)
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies (functional testing, system testing, compatibility testing, performance testing)
