Description: 

JD for API Developer:

1. Design, develop and deploy APIs using AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
2. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API gateway and IAM roles.
3. Proficiency in programming language such Python or Node JS – Prefer Python.
4. Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills are required
6. Collaborate with and third party developers and implement API contracts.
7. Ensure best practices are followed in API design and development.
8. Aware of monitoring, logging and debugging of APIs in AWS
9. Optimise API performance,  scalability and cost-effectiveness.
10. Work with DevOps team to automate deployment and CI/CD pipelines for APIs.
11. Should be aware of API documentation standards.
12. Stay updated with AWS services and industry best practices.
