Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to
. Preparation and upload of Journals at the end of the month after analysis of account
. Preparation & review of month end close tasks as per the monthly close calendar.
. Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and Performing task with accuracy and timelines.
. Preparation and review of Intercompany reconciliations and do vital follow-ups with relevant team to get variances resolved.
. Daily bank reconciliations and clearing. Identify open items and take it up with relevant Team to get closure before month end to ensure no open items after the closing.
. Cash Management ensuring ODS and RGTS is done to the external/internal client in a timely manner.
. Perform regulatory and statutory reporting tasks which includes preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow statement and Notes to accounts.
. Fixed Asset – creation/disposal & Depreciation Run in the Fixed asset subledger.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
. CPA equivalent/Chartered Accountant /Postgraduate in (Finance) Commerce or Accounting
. Relevant work experience preferably in Insurance industry
Preferred Qualifications
. Good MS Office skills, especially MS excel.
. Good verbal and written communication
. Excellent Accounting Knowledge
. Experience in General accounting (R2R function)
. Technology skills – ERP knowledge preferred.
