About Role :
Our FX strategy involves building a Java team in the Noida/Hyderabad office and hiring an experienced resource to work alongside current FX experts dedicated to ION FX. This team is strategic from multiple fronts, including strategic FX investment in ION FX solutions, on-going client sponsored projects, and potential cross-convergences with other ION India teams.
The lateral hire will focus on Java development for state-of-the-art FX front/middle/back office solutions and ultra-low latency connectivity. They will collaborate with a team of senior experts primarily based in the GTM timezone and should be flexible to accommodate EST timezone when necessary.
Your Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions tailored to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to understand and implement technical and functional requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices, conducting unit tests, and participating in peer code reviews to ensure software quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including those related to financial data and portfolio calculations, while continuously improving system performance.
- Contribute to new product implementation projects and assist in transitioning systems to modern cloud-based platforms, ensuring smooth deployment and support.
- Manage the entire software lifecycle from design to deployment, leveraging expertise in banking processes to evolve critical information systems in an international and dynamic environment.
