The Opportunity
Powering our massive scale is a 650 people strong engineering team in India, which has delivered best in class transaction speed and reliability, and has led to the creation of one of the world’s largest payments platforms. For our next phase of our growth, we need to continue delivering superior performance and reliability on our mobile apps, while handling the diverse set of mobile devices and networks in India.
This position is for the App Platform US team. The App Platform team (India and the US) builds systems that help the 200+ PhonePe App engineers ship with high quality, velocity, and low overhead.
Engineers in the US team drive some critical systems like the Release infrastructure, Automation platform, and the Experimentation platform. They also own some critical mobile SDKs on Android and iOS. At this point, the US team works on self-contained problems, and will explore new technologies (e.g. on-device machine learning, GenAi)
We’re looking for people who are interested in mobile platforms, building for scale, and are passionate about driving lots of impact!
