This role is based in Ahmedabad, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting not only design but also in production. Order execution to be part of across the globe level projects including India.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- This role is mainly on Customer Order Execution projects.
- Involvement in the bid phase and assistance during commissioning activities as an addition.
- Responsible to fulfill on time all technical obligations committed by the Company, including those sub-contracted to external suppliers related to Control System Hardware and software.
- Lead and work in COMOS LIBRA Database.
- Support NCC prevention initiatives by using 8D and 5WHY methodologies.
- Retain and develop new supplier base for cost out initiatives.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation engineering or equivalent experience is vital. You must also have 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Instrument engineering and design.
- Should be conversant with updated national / International standards and codes., familiar with all European Norms
- Coordinate teamwork between Engineering units, ensuring timely decisions on open issues and advancing when vital.
- Resolve the site /Supplier/Client queries, complete package ATEX and CE certification
- IPF and SIL study and SIL classification and meeting participation, experience/ Exposure to work with & interpretation of technical specifications of – world-class consultants like: EIL / TEIL / UHDE / LTC / Technip / Shell DEP / ARAMCO / PDO etc.
- Proficiency in various software applications such as MS Office (Project, Excel), Adobe PDF, SAP, Conval, Jira, Intools external editor, Navis works and Team Center, design of machine monitoring system and sensors.
- This role is accountable to prepare the following major engineering and documentation, piping and instrumentation diagram, process & ESD control narrative, logic diagram and flow charts, pressure safety valve and Control valve, anti surge valve, cause and effect diagram.
- Instrument Index, Manufacturer datasheet, Instrument-Datasheets, Input, output list & Alarm-Trip list summary, Anti-Surge Valve and associated instrumentation, Cable schedule, Junction box wiring diagram, Hook up diagram, Should be conversant with updated national / International standards and codes.
- Preparation of process & Instrumentation Diagram in line with the Client Specs & pre order correspondence/TQ, International standards & SE product safety guidelines, Basic knowledge of – Rotating equipment compressor/ Pumps & Hazardous area as per IEC-60079 all versions.
- Candidate should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, Strong soft personal skill i.e. great teammate, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & optimally etc.
