Position Overview: The Desktop Support Engineer will provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues. The role involves troubleshooting, resolving IT-related problems, and ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems and peripheral devices. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing network connectivity problems, including LAN and Wi-Fi issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and applications.
- Incident Management:
- Log and manage support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Prioritize and escalate critical issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary.
- Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring problems.
