Educational Qualification:
Trainee Engineer-I:
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech(Computer Science) with First Class for General / OBC / EWS candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwD Candidates
- Freshers(No experience required)
Project Engineer-I:
- Full time B.E./B.Tech(Mechanical/Computer Science/Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication) with First Class for General / OBC / EWS candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwD Candidates.
- 2 Years of Experience required

Upper Age Limit (as on 01.09.2020): 25 years for Trainee Engineer; 28 years for Project Engineers
Upper age limit will be relaxable by:
- For SC – 5 years
- For OBC- 3 years
- For PWD category- 10 years
Remuneration:
Trainee Engineer-I:
- 1st Year – Rs.25,000/-
2nd Year – Rs.28,000/-
3rd Year – Rs.31,000/-
Project Engineer-I:
- 1st Year – Rs. 35,000/-
- 2nd Year – Rs. 40,000/-
- 3rd Year – Rs. 45,000/-
- 4th Year – Rs. 50,000/-
BEL Recruitment Selection Process for Project Engineer:
- Shortlisted will be called for the interview
- Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on marks obtained in BE/B.Tech
Qualification and experience will be allotted weightage as follows:
- Aggregate Marks secured in BE/B.Tech – 75%
- Relevant Post Qualification experience – 10%
- Interview – 15%
Application fee:
- For Trainee Engineer-Rs 250/-
- For Project Engineer-Rs.500/-
Note: SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee
Mode of Payment: Application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch).
