Job Description
- Understanding complex technical issues and managing them within a fast-paced business environment, most likely lead threat modeling workshops and architecture reviews with product development teams
- Threat intelligence, identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats
- Provide tooling that supports the infrastructure team in identifying misconfigurations and securely scaling our cloud environment
- Conducting proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies
- Establish compliance as code practices and tooling
- Modernise vulnerability management on a container and host level
- Give practical guidance and support with a modern twist in traditional InfoSec areas such as log management, network monitoring, encryption, patch management, SSDLC, etc
- Be able to swiftly identify, escalate, validate, and confirm incidents to the designated incident response team.
- Work with the relevant stakeholders to initiate and implement the mitigations.
- Manage SIEM tools, fine-tune SIEM rules to reduce false positives and remove false negatives.
- Understand the structure and the meaning of logs from different log sources
- Learn new attack patterns, actively participate in security forums.
- Sourcing, implementing and maintaining security solutions to better protect the organization
