Job Description:
- Testing and validation of air conditioning compressors as per Emerson standards to support engineering projects
- Candidate will also assist in testing and qualification of compressor performance and reliability test stand & will be responsible for test data collection and documentation.
- Need to operate and troubleshoot the test equipment’s (performance & Life test stand)
- Daily reporting about work progress and status to Manager
- Awareness about the equipment’s and safety practices
- Candidate shall receive on job training to fulfill all the responsibilities associated with the role
- Ready to work in three shift operations.
Responsibilities:
- Follow Proper safety and 5S standards in the lab while working at all the times. Notify any unsafe situation or acts
- Conduct tests or lab activities as per the standard laboratory procedure. Notify the lab engineer for shortcomings if any
- Maintain lab equipment’s and utilities as per preventive maintenance plan
- Maintain Records of tests or lab activities in prescribed formats
- Identify and implement incremental improvements in the lab
- Actively participate in training programs on new test equipment or procedures
- Take up additional roles and responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum ITI in Refrigeration and Air conditioning, Preferred Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience of 1 year
- Working knowledge of relevant lab equipment and procedures
- Willingness to learn new test procedure and adopt them
- Willingness to work outside of regular office hours, as required
- Reasonable skills in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Strong interpersonal relation and teamwork.
