Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should complete Bachelors degree in any disciplines from a recognized university
Note:
For Ex-Servicemen:
- HSC (10+2+3 pattern): who have put in atleast 10 years service
- Matric: who have put in atleast 15 years service,
- Non-Matric: 15 years service + Indian army special certificate exam
Age Limit(as on 01.09.2019): 18 to 30 years

Relaxation:
- For SC/ST: 5 Years
- For OBC: 3 Years
- For PwBD (Gen): 10 Years
- For PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
- For PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual Period of service in the Defence Services plus 3 years subject to
the maximum age limit of 45 years.

LIC Assistant Recruitment – Selection Process:
Selection of Assistant will be done through Preliminary and Mains Examination and subsequent Pre-recruitment Medical examination.
Phase-I Preliminary Examination:
- Preliminary Examination consisting of the objective test will be conducted online.

Note:
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination
- 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
- If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question
- The marks obtained by the candidate in each section and in the aggregate shall be arrived at after deduction of marks for wrong answers.
- Candidates will have to qualify in each of the objective tests

- For SC/ST/ PwBD candidates: Rs. 85/- (Intimation Charges)
- For all other candidates: Rs. 510/- (Application fee + Intimation Charges)
