Unacademy is a Bangalore-based international educational technology firm that offers an online learning environment. Unacademy raised $440 million in August 2021 in a Series H fundraising round headed by Temasek, with participation from Deepinder Goyal, co-founder and CEO of Zomato, General Atlantic, Tiger Global, and SoftBank Vision Fund, Aroa Ventures, and the family office of OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal. The employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) buyback programme, valued at $10.5 million, was announced in September 2021 for both staff members and educators.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Outbound Telemarketer located in Hyderabad. The Outbound Telemarketer will be responsible for contacting potential customers by phone, explaining our product offerings, and promoting the benefits of using Unacademy. Additionally, the Outbound Telemarketer will be responsible for appointment scheduling, providing excellent customer service, and fulfilling sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication Skills
- Experience in Appointment Scheduling and Customer Service
- Prior experience in Sales (not mandatory)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good typing and computer skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Experience working in a center is preferred. Knowledge of additional Indian languages is an added advantage.
