CPCB 2020 Recruitment: Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has announced an online notification for recruitment to the post of Consultant. There are 15 vacancies are to be filled for this posts. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 18 December 2020. The age limit of the candidate should be 40/45 years. About CPCB: The Central Pollution Control Board of India is a statutory organisation under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. It was established in 1974 under the Water Act, 1974. The CPCB is also entrusted with the powers and functions under the Air Act, 1981. The board conducts environmental assessments and research. It is responsible for maintaining national standards under a variety of environmental laws, in consultation with zonal offices, tribal, and local governments. It has responsibilities to conduct monitoring of water and air quality and maintains monitoring data.

Educational Qualification:
For Consultant A:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Management or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute.
- Required Experience: Good knowledge of MS office and working experience in the field of Air Pollution or Environmental Pollution Control for a period of more than 3 years and up to 5 years.
