REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Engineering ( Preferably Instrumentation)
- Good Interpersonal skill
- Proficient English language skills (verbal and written)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support/ Lead various Life sciences/ Batch Pursuits Globally.
- Analyze RFQ (Specifications) & Customer Requirements.
- Prepare technical queries and respond technical queries raised by customer, vendor.
- Attend Technical Kick of Meeting with sales and Operation
- Preparing sound and cost effective Solution & Proposal based on RFQ requirements.
- Using Emerson standard Estimation tool (EET) & Optimization inline with RFQ requirements.
- Size system hardware, estimate controller loading, size control network, prepare heat and power calculations and prepare system Architechture.
- Prepare table of compliance for various customer specifications.
- Techno commercial Meetings with customer, Project Specific Solution Presentations with respective stakeholders
- Co-ordinate with FSO Proposal manager, Operations Manager , Sales Lead to define execution strategy based on customer specification, language, front office etc.
- Co-ordinate with Procurement teams and if required work with vendors for Techno commercial offers as part of Solution requirements.
- Prepare Techno commercial offer document inline with Emerson standard proposal format or as per Customer tender/bid documentation requirement.
- Follow Emerson standard Proposal Quality processes.
- Able to create RFQs for buyouts and work with other stakeholders like sourcing team, iCenters to get quotes
- Take and support Initiatives to meet Departmental Goals (KPI, Yearly Targets)
- Min 3 – 6 years’ Experience in Automation – DCS/PLC related solutions (Pharmaceutical Industry background preferred)
SKILLS
- Sound Knowledge of ISA88 standard, GAMP5 Structure, Regulations and compliances for Batch processes.
- Expericences in Batch process application like Biotech and Pharmaceutical
- Expericences in DCS, PLC, Third party interface, Virtualisation,Cyber security ,Asset Management systems, Area classifications, Integration with MES
- Understanding of P&IDs to further understand the scope.
- Understanding of project life cycle from concept to commissioning.
- Understanding of customer needs with clearly defined scope boundary and translating it into a robust technical solution.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Able to work in cross functional teams’ proposal, Sales, Operation Sales Support, Procurement, Legal team located remotely.
- Able to work in Team environment as well as independent working ability.
- Able to understand the business case
- Able to analyze technical limitation of system and impact on solution.
- Able to do multi-tasking and set priorities within set of tasks
