Job Description Summary
The GE Gas Power business has a globally distributed supply chain and is in the midst of a significant transformation of the supply chain processes with the key objective of improving on time delivery, reducing inventory and optimizing capacity. The role of the Enterprise Application Engineering Specialist will require working closely with solution architects and business process leaders towards enabling this transformation.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Within the GE Gas Power , you will be responsible for:
- Defining, developing, and enhancing supply chain solutions that deliver desired business outcomes.
- Support proof of concept sessions on material and capacity planning.
- Working with solution architects to ensure that the products developed meet customer expectations.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Providing data to support executive stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner.
- Proactively shares information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
