- Daily operation of Condition Monitoring departments to cater the reliability need of all the defined assets by applying the CDT techniques and enhance the overall performance/efficiency and by driving the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) excellence initiatives across all respective work units to achieve zero Fatality
- Responsible for vibration analysis of rotating equipment, balancing of rotating equipment like fans, blowers etc., laser alignment of drives, NDT (UT,DP,MPT,Radiography) of critical equipment, thermography of Torpido, Vessel and Furnace etc, flow measurement of hydraulics and water system, develop data based system for component used in the plant, Breakdown management
- Responsible to drive & implement online monitoring system and provide support with respect to domain knowledge for building predictive analytics. Formulate the processes and perform Contextual analysis/diagnosis by co-relating available process & equipment data along with analysis done through different CDT technique.
- Syndicate with other inspection department like lubrication, SOI, Hydraulics to access the overall equipment health condition and plan to make/modify equipment monitoring schedule.
- Develop equipment health profile based on historical equipment data, maintenance records, process requirement and other inspection record to develop the understanding of equipment behaviour pattern to take corrective action swiftly and reduce the equipment downtime during MSD and breakdown.
- Collaborate with business unit to implement corrective action to be taken based on given recommendation to meet/escalate the feedback compliance
- Meet department’s instrument/equipment quality compliance by upgradation and calibration of the assets.

Responsible for monitoring of plant critical assets by application of condition diagnostic techniques and shall be accountable for avoiding unplanned outages.
