Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should pass 12th class, preferably in Science or equivalent from a recognised Board/ University
- Certificate in Medical Records (from a recognised Institute or authority issued after not less than 6 months training course)
- Desirable: Experience of having handled Medical records in a Hospital/Medical Institute, of repute.
Age Limit (as on 10.02.2020): 18 to 30 years
(relaxable up to 40 years of age for AIIMS Patna employees)
Age Relaxation:
- For SC/ST: 5 years
- For OBC: 3 years
- For PWBD: 10 years
- For PWBD + OBC: 13 years
- For PWBD + SC/ST: 15 years
- For Ex-Servicemen: 03 years after deducting of the military service

AIIMS Medical Record Technician Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on the Written Test.
Scheme of Examination:
- The examination will adjoin a Computer Based online mode of exam for the post of Medical Record Technician (MRT)
- The paper will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only.
- The question will be set in English and Hindi language.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Mode of Payment: Fees through Online Mode Only via payment gateway of AIIMS, Patna. Transaction/ Processing fee, if any, as applicable will be payable to the bank by the candidate.
