About BEL : Bharat Electronics Limited is an Indian Government-owned aerospace and defence electronics company. It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for ground and aerospace applications. BEL is one of nine PSUs under the Ministry of Defence of India. BEL has subsidiaries and joint ventures with local and international companies and provides a wide array of products such as Electronic Voting Machines, RADAR. Transmitters, SONAR based tech and electronic components of Military Communications and Ballistic Missile systems, Semiconductor Devices, Professional Vacuum Tubes, Crystal Devices, Solar Cells and Systems.
Bharat Electronics offers consultancy services on a turn-key basis which includes planning, supply and execution of process-related projects, LCD/LED Display Systems, test systems, etc. BEL professional tubes are employed by the Electrical Industry, Defence Services, Radio and TV Broadcast Networks and Industrial Electronics fields.
- BEL set up a radar manufacturing facility for the army and in-house R&D. In 1967, BEL began manufacturing transmitting tubes, silicon devices and integrated circuits. The PCB manufacturing facility was established in 1968. BEL started making black & white TV picture tubes, X-ray tubes and microwave tubes. In 1971, BEL set up facilities for the manufacture of integrated circuits and hybrid micro circuits. 1972, BEL established manufacturing facilities for TV transmitters for Doordarshan. In 1973, BEL began manufacturing frigate radars for the navy.

BEL Recruitment 2022 for Freshers Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- 3 years Diploma in Engineering from recognised institution
Note: Engineering Assistant Trainees (EAT) will undergo training for an initial period of six months during which they will be paid stipend of Rs. 10,000/- pm. On successful completion of the training and on passing the gradation test they will be placed in the regular pay scales indicated above.
Upper Age Limit(31/07/2022) : 28 years
Age Relaxation :
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe : 5 years
- Persons with Disability (PWD) having minimum 40% disability : 10 years

- The candidates meeting the criteria will be provisionally shortlisted for the selection process. The eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test. Based on the marks in the written test, provisionally shortlisted/ selected candidates will be called for document verification.
