So The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing is an Indian autonomous scientific society, operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. After being denied a Cray supercomputer by the United States in 1987, due to military use concerns, India started a programme to develop an indigenous supercomputer and C-DAC was created as part of this programme.

Detailed Educational Qualification:
For Project Associate :
- Must have at least a 1st Class B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in relevant discipline Or DOEACC B Level with at least 1 year of post-qualification work experience Or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Electronics/IT/Computer Applications or relevant domain with at least 1 year of post-qualification work experience.
Age Limit (as on 11 December 2020):
- For General – below 35 years
- Upper age relaxation is as per Government of India norms.

CDAC Selection Process:
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic credentials, experience profile, written test marks (if any), performance in the interview and such other selection processes/parameters
- There will be an initial screening based on the academic records and other parameters given in the advertisement and only those screened-in candidates will be considered for further selection process.
