HPSSSB Recruitment: Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board has announced an online notification for recruitment to the post of Advertisement Designer, Artist, Mountaineering Supervisor, Trekking Guide, Mining Inspector/ Others.

There are 290 vacancies are to be filled for this jobs. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this posts can apply from 21 November 2020 to 20 December 2020. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below in detail.

HPSSSB Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
For Advertisement Designer:
- 10+2 from a recognized Board/University. At least one year certificate course in Graphic Designing from any DOAEC (NIELIT) Accredited/recognized institute. Should be familiar with commonly used Graphic Design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Draw and Page Maker etc.
- At least two years experience of working in a newspaper/advertisement agency as graphic designer.
For Artist:
- Matric or its equivalent from a recognized University or Board. Must possess 03 years experience of acting in Drama, Music, Dance, Songs and playing on musical instrument under Govt./Semi Govt./Registered Cultural Organizations.
For Mountaineering Supervisor:
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Certificate course in Basic, Advance and Method of Instruction courses in mountaineering from recognized Institution of Mountaineering.
For Trekking Guide:
- Matric or its equivalent from a recognized Board /University. Should have done Basic and advance courses in Mountaineering from a recognized Institute.
For Mining Inspector:
- B.Sc. Degree in Science with Geology or its equivalent from a recognized University.
For Laboratory Technician:
- 10+2 with Science or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University. Should possess a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an Institution duly recognized by the HP/Central Government. OR
- B.Sc. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University or from an Institution duly recognized by the HP Govt./Central Government. Must be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Para Medical Council.
For Publicity Assistant Grade-II:
- Matric from a recognized Board of School Education.
- Two years National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Certificate in the trade of Electronics or Radio & T.V. from an Institution recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
For Statistical Assistant:
- B.Com or B.Sc./BA with Economics/Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects or its equivalent from recognized University.
For Senior Scientific/ Technical Assistant:
- Master Degree in any branch of Science or M.Sc./MA (Geography with Remote Sensing and GIS specialization) from any recognized University Institution/Organization. OR
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/B.Tech. from a recognized University by the Central/HP Govt. or Diploma in Engineering with five years of Experience in related field from any reputed University/Institution/Organization.
For Data Entry Operator:
- 10+2 from a recognized University or Board. Should possess a minimum speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi Typing and 30 words per minute in English Typing.
- Should have basic knowledge of Computer Operation with One Year Diploma in Computer application/Training.
For Electrician (Technician):
- Should have passed Matriculation examination or its equivalent from recognized Board / University. Must possess ITI Certificate in the trade of Electrician.
For Steno Typist:
- Should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board of School Education. Must possess the following speed in Short-hand and Typing on computers in both the language i.e. English & Hindi of shorthand 60wpm and 25wpm in speed.
- Should have the knowledge of word processing in computer as prescribed by the recruiting authority
For Assistant Chemist:
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized Institution/University, established by law by the State/Central Govt.
- For Store Keeper:
- Minimum qualification of Plus Two from the recognized Board/University.
For Havildar Instructor/ Quarter Master Havildar:
- Should have passed at least matric standard examination from a recognized Board of School
Education/Should possess Army Special certificate. - Should be Holding honorary Rank of Havildar or above in the Home Guards Organization and continuous service as such for the last 3 years./A Havildar who has served as such in the Army for at least three years.
For Copy Holder:
- Should have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. Two years practical experience in proof Reading from a Government/Semi Govt./Private Press having ISO certification.
For Laboratory Assistant (Biology & Serology):
- B.Sc. (Medical) Molecular Biology/Bio Technology from a recognized University.
For Electrician:
- ITI Certificate in the trade with four years experience in the line.
For Petrol Pump Attendant:
- 10+2 with ITI certificate in any trade.
For Store Keeper:
- B. Com with six months Computer course from a recognized institute.
For Superintendent Grade-II (Store):
- B. Com. from recognized University.
For Press Duftry:
- 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/Institution. Two years National Trade/Apprenticeship certificate course in the trade of binding from a recognized ITI or from an Institution duly recognized by Central/HP Government.
For Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
- Matric/Higher Secondary Part-I or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
- Degree or Diploma in the trade of Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Aeronautical or Marine Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or an Institution duly recognized by the Government of India or the State Government.
For Junior Engineer (Civil):
- Should have passed Matric or 10+2 Examination or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/University.
- Regular full time Diploma in Civil Engineering (03 years) or B.E./B. Tech. degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or from an Institution duly recognized by the Central or State Government.
For Librarian:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University. or Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Diploma of minimum one year duration in Library Science or Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Deemed University.
- Provided that Matriculation and 10+2 must be passed from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.
For Investigator:
- Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University.
For Senior Assistant (Accounts):
- M.Com with one year experience in Accounts. B.Com with three years experience in Accounts.
For Junior Office Assistant (Accounts):
- B.Com./M.Com from a recognized University.
For Clerk:
- Should have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University. Should possess a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting on Computer.
- Should have the knowledge of “Word Processing‟ in Computer as prescribed by the Recruiting Authority.
For Statistical Assistant:
- B.Com. or B.Sc. (Non-Medical)/B.A. with Economics/Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects or its equivalent from recognized University.
For Ledger Keeper:
- B. Com with six months Computer course from a recognized institute.
For Steno Typist:
- Should have passed 10+2 exam or its equivalent from a Board/ University from recognized by the HP Govt./Central Government. Should have a speed of 30 WPM in English typewriting or 25 WPM in Hindi typewriting and 60 WPM in Hindi shorthand.
For Staff Nurse:
- 10+2 preferably with Science from a recognized Board of School Education. Qualified „A‟ Grade Nurse (Diploma in GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University/Institution.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2020): 18 to 45 years.
Relaxations: The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Persons with disabilities.

HPSSSB Recruitment Selection Process:
- Objective type screening test consisting of 170 Multiple Choice Questions from Subject(s)/field(s) concerned prescribed as essential qualification(s) in the R&P Rules and as notified in the advertisement, General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.
- Typing skill test on computer of qualifying nature in minimum prescribed speed of 25 WPM in Hindi typewriting and 30 WPM in English typewriting for those who qualify objective type screening test. Skill tests will be of qualifying nature.
- Practical skill test of Graphic Design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral
Draw and Page Maker for those who qualify objective type of screening test.

- For General IRDP, PH, Ward of Freedom Fighter, Ward of Ex-Servicemen of HP: Rs. 120/-
