Technical Assistant, Group III:
Technical Assistant (Biological Sciences):
- First-class B.Sc. (Sci) with biology as a major subject and with one-year full-time professional qualification or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization.
Technical Assistant (Chemical Sciences):
- First-class B.Sc. (Sci) with Chemistry as a major subject/ (Maths/Statistics) and with one-year full-time professional qualification or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organization.

Technical Assistant (Library Sciences): First class B.Sc. (Sci) with B.Lib. Science
Technical Assistant (Civil/ Electrical Engineer):
- First-class Diploma in Electrical / Civil Engineering / Technology of at least 3 years full-time duration or at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or it equivalent with experience of two years in the relevant area/field.
Upper Age limit (As on 05.09.2020):
- Technical Officer, Group III: 28 years
- Technical Assistant, Group III: 30 years
Relaxations in upper Age Limit:
- 5 years for SC/ST Candidates
- 3 years for OBC candidates
- 10 years for PWD candidates (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
- Others as per Govt rules.

- OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Types Multiple Choice Examination.
