SAIL Hiring 2020: Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has announced an online notification for recruitment to the post of Specialist, Hospital Administrator, Medical Officer. There are 37 vacancies are to be filled for this posts. Interested candidates can apply for this recruitment on or before 30 November 2020. The selection process will be based on the basis of written test and Interview. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below in detail.

Steel Authority of India- It is an Indian state-owned steel making company. It was found on 19 January 1954. Headquarters is in New Delhi. Mr Anil Kumar Chaudhary is the CEO of SAIL. It is a public sector undertaking company and it was owned & operated by the Government of India. It produces iron and steel at five integrated plants and three special steel plants. It was located in the eastern and central regions of India.

Educational Qualification:
For Specialist:
- MD/MS/DNB/MDS in Anaesthesia / Dental / Dermatology/ General Surgery /General Medicine / Microbiology / O&G/ Ophthalmology / Orthopaedics /Paediatrics / Pathology / Pulmonary Medicine / Psychiatry / Radiology from an university/ institute recognized by Medical Council of India/ National Board of Examination.
- Experience: Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline after MD/MS/DNB/MDS.

For Specialist (Transfusion Medicine):
- MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine / Pathology from a university/institute recognized by Medical Council of India/ National Board of Examination.
- Experience: Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in preparation of Blood components after MD/DNB.
For Specialist (Emergency Medicine):
- MD/MS/DNB in Emergency Medicine / General Medicine/ General Surgery from a university/institute recognized by Medical Council of Examination.
- Experience: Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in Critical Care Unit/ICU/ Casualty after MD/MS/ DNB.
For Hospital Administrator:
- MBBS with Post Graduate Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA) from a university/institute recognized by Medical Council of India/ National Board of Examination.
- Experience: Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in Hospital Administration after MHA.

- Medical Officer – 34 years
Relaxation in Upper age limit:
- For OBC – 3 years

SAIL Recruitment Selection Process :
- For Specialist and Hospital Administrator, Eligible candidates will be required to appear interview.
- For Medical Officer, Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test in English. Written test will consist of 100 Objective type questions of post specific.
- The duration of the test would be two hours. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for EWS/Unreserved posts will be determined based on 50 percentage score.

- For General – Rs.500/-
- SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
Mode Of Payment:
Candidates will be required to pay Application Fee through Net Banking or Credit / Debit Card. State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the application fee through SB Collect on behalf of SAIL.
