Educational Qualification:
For Instructor:
- Madhyamik Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent
- Diploma in respective Engineering disciplines, recognized by the State Council for Technical Education, West Bengal or its equivalent with a minimum of 3 years’ Post –Diploma experience in the related field in a reputed Industry/Establishment/Training Institute OR
- National Trade Certificate in the concerned trade as a regular trainee with not less than 5 years’ Post-qualification experience in the related field in a reputed Industry/ Establishment/ Training Institute. OR
- National Apprenticeship Certificate in the concerned trade with not less than 4 years
Post-qualification experience in the related field in a reputed Industry/ Establishment/ Training Institute.
Respective Disciplines: Draughtsman (Civil)/ Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Fitter/ Machinist Grinder/ Machinist/ Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Plumber/ Surveyor/ Turner/ Welder/ Wireman/ Carpenter/ Refrigeration & AC Mechanic/ Cutting & Sewing
For Storekeeper (Technical):

WBPSC Recruitment Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the Preliminary Screening Test and Interview.

- General – 40%
- OBC – 38%
- SC – 35%
- ST – 30%

Educational Qualification:
For Laboratory Assistant in Physics/ Chemistry:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics/ Chemistry as one of the subjects from recognized University or Institute.
For Laboratory Assistant in the Engineering Department:
- Candidates should complete a Diploma in respective disciplines from a recognized Institution.
