Job Description:
- Engineer is a hands-on developer specializing in Java development with a particular focus producing API services
- Build (and test) all new cloud-ready code using Java, Spring Boot, REST API and other technologies with strong ability to design in OOA/OOD
- Working independently and within a team on code development, code review and modest day-to-day support duties
- Identify and implement design principles such as DRY, Single Responsibility, SOLID
- Understands the maintenance, operational and runtime characteristics of your software
- Working within an Agile development methodology, you will collaborate with other engineers and tech leads to deliver an exceptional user experience to our customers
- Identify opportunities to improve an overall process/trim waste
- Troubleshoots problems, define root cause and works towards prevention
- Documents intentions behind features and components
